Product Manager – Broker & Customer Activation (m/f/d)

Your Mission
We are looking for a Product Manager to drive the development and optimization of our Broker Portal and Customer Portal. You will be responsible for improving broker and customer activation, engagement, and conversion. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in an agile startup environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Your Tasks
  • Own the roadmap for the Broker Portal and Customer Portal, ensuring a frictionless user experience and business impact.
  • Improve broker onboarding, activation, and engagement, making it easier for brokers to quote, bind, and manage policies.
  • Optimize customer and broker self-service experiences, ensuring policy management is intuitive and efficient.
  • Define, document, and prioritize features based on business impact, user feedback, and data insights.
  • Collaborate closely with designers and developers to create, test, and iterate on new features and interfaces.
  • Leverage user research, feedback from internal stakeholders and users, and behavioral analytics to refine user journeys and remove friction points.
  • Document product requirements, user flows, and wireframes to clearly communicate needs to the development team.
Your profile
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner working on web-based B2B platforms (e.g., broker portals, partner dashboards, or customer portals).
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, user-centered design, and usability best practices.
  • Experience working with wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq) to visualize product ideas.
  • Proven ability to optimize user activation and conversion funnels, focusing on engagement and ease of use.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other analytics and feedback tools to drive iterative improvements.
  • Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research, translating insights into actionable product improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on, data-driven approach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams (development, sales, marketing, operations).

    Bonus:
  • Language skills: Fluency in English (German is a plus)
  • Knowledge of insurance distribution models and broker workflows.
  • Familiarity with customer engagement tools or CRM platforms.
