Your Mission

As our first General Manager BeNeLux (m/f/d), you will be opening and building up one of the most promising, high-growth markets. With that, you will build your own highly driven and successful team of Insurance Broker Managers and Underwriters and help Baobab in becoming the market leader in cyber security insurance for the BeNeLux region.

Your Tasks

Responsibility for the BeNeLux region: Holistic responsibility for our insurance business operations in the BeNeLux region, driving our corporate strategy and objectives.
Strategic Alignment: Development and implementation of regional strategies to achieve our growth and profitability targets.
Sales & Marketing: Development, establishment, and implementation of sales activities and marketing measures to achieve insurance market leadership and ensure highest customer satisfaction.
Financial Management: Budget and P&L responsibility for the entire BeNeLux region.
Team Management: Building and leading a high-performing local team.

Your profile

Several years of management experience in a similar position within the insurance industry, ideally in a startup environment
In-depth, cross-border knowledge of the commercial insurance industry, ideally with experience in cyber insurance and/or sales
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills across all levels
Results-oriented, proactive, and self-reliant approach
Fluency in English; ideally combined with fluency in Dutch, any other language is a plus
